This book reads like a beautiful anthology of angelic intervention. Just when you thought you'd heard all imaginable stories about angelic assistance, Jacky Newcomb, one of the UKs leading experts on angels, has compiled some incredible and uplifting personal accounts sent to her from ‘regular’ people around the world.

Most of the stories are spellbindingly absorbing and opened my eyesto the unlimited ways angels step in to help us.

There are many stories like theman who found himself clinging by just his fingers to a mountain ledge, certain of imminent death having slipped on some scree, only to find himself in the next instant back in the spot he fell from, perfectly safe if a little bewildered. As Jacky comments, "miracles know no bounds and there are many such examples to be found here."

There are reports of disembodied voices giving warnings to avert disaster and many accounts also of angelic apparitions, some of which take animal as well as human form. Each type of angelic intervention is categorised by chapter and Jacky gives her own unique introduction and post script to each account. Alongside angelic encounters there are also heart-warming stories of loved ones coming back to comfort the grieving, and in doing so are acting as human angels to the loved ones they’ve left behind. Each story is as uplifting and inspiring as the next and, as Jacky’s book illustrates, miracles know no bounds.

There can be little reason to doubt the existence of angels after reading this book. However, whatever your beliefs, these stories bear testament to the fact that a reassuring force of help and protection from supernatural sources is available to us when needed. At the end you are left with a comforting feeling that if it's not your time to go, it simply won't happen!
