The Alternative View, April 2008

I cannot tell you how excited I am to write this new monthly column for ps-magazine.com. The thought of it has totally inspired me.

Synchronicity is everything, when the lovely Sahar, the editor, and I discussed launching this column, our timing was perfect. The Spring season is all about fresh growth and new beginnings, Mother Nature’s sap is rising!

On the subject of sap rising, I recently received extraordinary information about an energy which is natural, powerful and free. This bolt from the blue came via my hairdresser but the energy I speak of comes via Mother Nature. Let me explain.

My regular hairdresser, Andre, is always very chatty which I could do without but scared that if I don’t gossip along and ooh and aah in the right places I may end up with the latest creation out of Monster Haircuts Magazine. Call me a wimp but it’s true, sometimes we have to play the game! A lull in the conversation prompted my question, why does hair grow quickly sometimes and at other times hardly at all.

Blame it on the Moon

‘Blame the moon’, replied Andre, ‘you prune roses on a new moon when the sap is rising, it promotes new growth, it’s the same with hair ... and uncross your legs, don’t constrict the flow of energy whilst I am cutting, energy is everything’.

I sat bolt upright fearful of the monster creation, this was fascinating information. Apparently a cut during the days after the full moon follows the pull of gravity. Energy decreases from the full moon to the new moon and increases from the new moon to the full moon. Therefore hair grows quickly on the waxing cycle and less so on the waning cycle. Confusing but logical!

Science acknowledges that the moon’s cycles govern the ocean’s tides, gardeners work with the flow of Mother Nature’s sap, but such knowledge about hair and it’s growth is uncommon. Imagine the money saved by making an appointment just after a full moon! The same most probable applies to fingernails and toenails, let alone eyebrows, moustaches... the list is endless.

Laying his scissors down, Andre anticipated my thirst for further understanding. ‘And another thing, if you want to get a project off the ground, use the flow of the moon’s energy to help you, pedal uphill with the wind against you if you like, but isn’t it better to use this free energy and pedal downhill with the wind behind you’.

What a treasure, I left the salon feeling rejuvenated in more ways than one. By the way, another hairdresser I know (home visits only) is a dab hand at cutting wigs. My girlfriend having had chemo swears he re-invented her national health wig into a very slick chick hairdo. I agree, her new look is fabulous and very gamine. Needing to wear a wig must be a difficult transition; a good cut may ease the process. If his services are required let me know at annabel.zoran@ps-magazine.com.

Alternatives

No such conversations took place at the lecture I attended recently at Alternatives in Piccadilly. The healer Gary Mannion was top of the bill, I was mute whilst watching him perform psychic surgery live on stage. It looked an uncomplicated process. The subject lies on a couch on stage fully clothed. Gary places his hands on the appropriate area and his guide, Abraham, comes through to administer the healing. So far so good. But then to my amazement, Gary took questions from the audience whilst Abraham worked through him. Replying to the questions in succinct manner at the same time as ‘conducting’ the psychic surgery was an extraordinary sight to see. I have witnessed others performing one feat or the other but to manage both simultaneously? Respect Gary!

Biting the bullet, I made an appointment with Gary and will report later on this.

Intrigued by the Alternatives lecture, I attended another of Gary’s talks later that week. This one was more intimate, watching Gary in trance, he channelled his guide Abraham who then invited questions.

A well spoken chap to my left wanted to know about the moon landing in 1969. Fascinating information was revealed; it did happen but apparently the astronauts found more than they bargained for, Abraham would not elaborate on this any further but did say the televised pictures of the moon landing were staged.

Another of our small audience questioned if eating meat was such a bad habit. Abraham had previously placed the setting for his only incarnation around the time of the Old Testament, he smiled (with us not at us), at the thought of this modern dilemma. Offering an image that meat eaters, on the etheric place, are surrounded by graveyards, he asked if any of us would enjoy walking to work through a graveyard. I liked his way of explaining things; not wishy washy, not dominating, not judging, just quiet observations that speak volumes.

Plucking up courage I asked if any of the Atlantean healing tools had survived and if so where are they. These tools emit colour and sound, restoring balance to the body. Abraham speaks in an old fashioned prose and all he would say is that our government has knowledge of such things, that they have much knowledge that is not shared with the people.

Next Month

It was a fascinating evening, next time I’ll plan a more succinct question so Abraham must give a more succinct answer. Having said that I must admit his reply to my second question was ahead of me. ‘Research and research, my dear, this is important for you, for your interests’. I took the advice and researched the subjects that interest me, the result is this column!

Next month I will be reporting on the Atlas, the first cervical vertebra, which I believe relates to the newly emerging 8th chakra, sometimes called the Breath of God. Apparently we are all born with this vertebra dislocated, a legacy from those who contrived to reduce the connected strands of our DNA. My own Atlas is being corrected this week. This unique therapy which is the only one of it’s kind in the UK is initially from Switzerland.

Further information on this in May’s column which will also discuss the alternative version of the Lords Prayer, a powerful meditation released into humanity during the 1920s.

It has been a pleasure to share this month’s experiences with you, positive energy always moves us onwards and upwards. Feel free to comment on anything I have said, ps-magazine.com is a forum for sharing, that is it’s beauty.
