Elemental palmistry, also known as chirology, is based on the elements of earth, water, fire and air. Both hands are looked at- the shape, fingers, lines and more are all examined. It is methodical, and because it has the system of the elements, it’s fairly easy to learn the basics, with the potential of a lifetime’s learning.

The Palmist Tree of Life, by Terry Stokes
"As a result of 50 years research and practise, I would like to show how the hand draws its nourishment and energy from the base of the palm, as epitomised in the roots of the tree, and assists this energy out through the fingers, the tree will bear its fruit in the mounts and particularly the fingers."
