I’m drawn to write something about that tricky little topic, ‘judgement’ which the angels say keeps us from honouring our own path, our own unique relationship with God.
I’m smiling as I write this as I’m seeing an angel frantically waving a huge flag with a message that judgement is in fact a great big ensign of self-worth, as it comes from a part of ourselves we don’t know how to work on to release. We think that by projecting onto others we can heal that which isn’t working inside of us. And this is true if we’re awake to what’s going on!
For some time I’ve been guided towards the ancient wisdom of Huna (Hawaiian Shamanism) and amongst other remarkable tools for transformation, have learned a valuable process in ‘dialoguing with the selves’. It’s an immensely useful way of keeping in touch with what’s pressing our buttons. Why don’t I like this person? Why do I not agree with them? What inside me needs to stop focusing on them and start bringing harmony to my own life?
For example, we may see someone society terms as a ‘victim’, someone who can’t take ‘tough love’. But what is it within ourselves that dislikes being the ‘victim’ that we can’t let this poor soul be? Rather than objectify or judge
them, does it not rest upon us, as ‘spiritual’ beings, to acknowledge that part of ourselves we dislike and work on releasing that self-criticism? Dialoguing with all the aspects of our make-up can prevent a lot of heart ache as we gradually see the root of our judgement. And what is ‘tough’ love? It’s trying to get someone to change to how we think they should be therefore can it be unconditional?
Time and again we hear stories in the news that bullies have once been the victim of bullying. Child molesters were mostly abused themselves. It’s time to ask ourselves who are we bullying? Who are we labelling as ‘weak’ or ‘pathetic’ or a ‘victim’ in our own lives? Who are we hurting that they may in turn spread the hurt further? If you want someone to be a victim, bully or aggressor, call them one. If someone sees the worst in us we inevitably live up to it, we’re human after all. Only through being the change and altering how we see others can we be the architects of peace and hope.
It takes looking inwards and bringing peace to ourselves first to bring about a peaceful revolution and this is work of the angels - turning us one by one to a peace within us through their solace, comfort and unconditional love that we may in turn see / speak / hear with a loving heart.
Furthermore, who, on earth, can say they truly know what’s best for us? Only
we can be the architects of our
own
change because only we know the truth of what it is to live our life, to see / hear / feel what we do and react in the way we do. There’s a great line by Depeche Mode to illustrate this – “Now I’m not looking for absolution, forgiveness for the things I do, but before you come to any conclusions, try walking in my shoes. You’ll stumble in my footsteps.” Only Unconditional love (God) is privy to the beauty of who we truly are because that’s all it can see.
On earth, however, we do have compassion as our key to changing the world. Through reaching up to the compassionate view,
attempting to see past the illusory problems or faults or weaknesses of others and understanding one another better, the miracles will happen. Compassion is like saying, I’m human therefore it’s hard to stay in a place of unconditional love, but I’m going to try and reach upwards to support you from a loving place!
A modern-day beacon of God’s grace light, Mother Theresa, said: “It is easy to love the people far away. It is not always easy to love those close to us. It is easier to give a cup of rice to relieve hunger than to relieve the loneliness and pain of someone unloved in our own home. Bring love into your home for this is where our love for each other must start.” It’s possible ‘home’ can also be translated to mean ‘soul’.
So does trying to negate judgement mean we’re not to give each other advice? Or we’re not to give an opinion when called upon? Of course we can, but it’s up to each of us to remember
only unconditional love is real. As the old quote goes: “Opinions are like belly buttons, we’ve all got them but they don’t hold much water!” Despite our best intentions, if someone asks our opinion it will always be that.
Guidance from God / spirit / angels is non-judgemental, it dials into the highest vibration to see the best in you and there’s almost always ‘lightness’ or humour involved. It sees your capabilities, your dreams, your strengths, the love inside you and builds on that. It lifts you and supports you to go higher because it can and it never comes ‘at you’ from your worst characteristics. You know when you’ve received divine guidance as you feel elevated, empowered and enriched, rather than ‘heavy’ or ‘world weary’.
Today, in response to the pain they see in our lives, the angels are asking each of us to shake off any judgements we’ve received recently, any name-calling or any labels we’ve been assigned by individuals or society. They’re asking us to call on them for help in lifting the dense vibration of judgement and its predecessor, guilt, from our shoulders, so that we may fly freely and in so doing be less likely to label or judge others.
In this moment we can make a pact with God to end the cycle of hurt and ask for our own forgiveness. We can be the leaders and dig deep to find the compassion to forgive ourselves as well as others that we may come from a place of love.
To assist us, the angels wish to share what is called ‘the gentle prayer’, a powerful transformer of hate to love: ‘I send love and healing to anyone I have ever hurt, either intentionally or unintentionally, and their families, in all direction of time and in all dimensions of reality. Thank you. I love you’.
Thanks to all the work of previous generations the angels say we are entering a peaceful revolution, despite how things are being presented. If we keep honouring the still, small voice of God within, we’ll shine a light to others without need for fanfare, just gentle, loving steps to peace / home.
We’re being called upon to live
authentically, i.e
. in harmony with our soul, and with
integrity, i.e. doing the right thing, even when no-one’s looking. The world is becoming more and more transparent, as the financial institutions are finding and it’s increasingly more difficult to ‘hide’ anything. So as we speed towards a society more in touch with one another’s feelings there is no room for blame or judgement, which lead to separation, only loving solutions, which will unify us.
I’d like to finish with a great song by a great entertainer, which enriches and inspires me!
“
I’m starting with the man in the mirror,
I’m asking him to change his ways.
No message could’ve been any clearer,
If you wanna make the world a better place
Just look at yourself and make the change.”
Love and angel blessings,
Jacquie
