“It’s come to my attention recently that as with all guidance, the way we listen to and interpret our angels has as much to do with our personal filters as with anything else.
For example, I can only feel love, support and humour from the angels but I’m always intrigued by how differently their energies can be felt and interpreted by others. I’ve received some newsletters in the past where the angels are ‘chiding’ under the guise of offering a ‘ gentle reminder’ but I have never felt guilt or pressure from an angel.
It’s safe to assume that anything that is irksome or bothersome is of the personality of the channel and not the angels. I believe that if we judge ourselves harshly then we will reflect that onto others. For example, have you noticed how people who push themselves hard expect others to do the same? Hence the importance to work on raising our own vibration to a level of joy and contentment before offering to be of service to others.
Last month I was faced with a decision. A decision based on interpreting angelic guidance and the conclusion I came to differed greatly from the guidance of another channel. Essentially my guidance was ‘questioned’ by the other person. I, in turn, began to tune in fully to my guidance and was reassured that the relief and peace I felt from making the decision I made was evidence enough that I had followed my heart as opposed to my ego.
I’m sharing this as the angels are saying we all have choices to make, which is what makes us powerful creators of our reality. Sometimes our decisions will differ greatly from another’s point of view but no matter what the provenance of the guidance e.g. the higher self, the angels or spirit guides, if the decision you reach brings clarity, assurance and ultimately peace then that is all that counts. The angels work through tuning us all to the guidance within, to know the peace that exists in following our own hearts. I’ve said before that their messages reflect only that which is within our own souls.
The angels, and I say this in the purest meaning of the word, are serving us, not over-lording us. They were created to be messengers for God, our higher self and as we are essentially all part of God, so the angels will never give us guidance over and above our innate truths. Nor will they ever cast doubt on another’s ‘truth’, only affirming that there are as many truths as there are experiences. Of course, there are generalisations for living in joy, harmony and peace which the angels share willingly, but, if you notice, it always comes back to us listening to, and honouring the voice within.
Sometimes situations and choices are brought to us entirely for that reason: to hone our desires. If we listen to the still, small quiet voice within (and it’s never booming or commanding), we honour the divinity within ourselves and this not only strengthens our intuition but raises our vibration. I don’t know how this plays out scientifically, I just know that as we honour our own path everything improves.
Whilst channelling on my own decision I received the following guidance from my higher self:
“Finding our true path or soul purpose is simply a case of choosing and becoming clear and then allowing our choices to become the path we walk. Through making these decisions we can renew our excitement for the future, through practicing the continuous art of self-belief.”
So, if you’re faced with some tough decisions at this time, take heart that sometimes it’s just about that, making a decision and sticking to it to honour the spirit of your soul, regardless of the perceived right or wrong choice you make, and if those around you question your guidance, take heart in the peace and tranquillity you feel in reaching your decision.
Love, light and peace,
Jacquie
