Happy new year everyone! May 2008 bring you much abundance and joy on your paths and may we all ‘feel the magic’ of many manifestations.

To welcome in the New Year the angels asked if I would briefly share that as 2007 came to an end I began to feel as though I was on one almighty emotional rollercoaster, with angry outbursts welling up from nowhere and fits of crying and frustration. Apparently I was not alone in feeling this way and the angels are reassuring all of us that we were simply experiencing some adjustments as the old makes way for the new. Of course this is the usual scheme with a new year but, numerologically speaking, 2008 carries with it the vibrations of the ‘1’ year making it a potentially powerful year of dynamic change.

In particular, many of us have already experienced a ‘flexing’ of our wings so that we may fully step into who we are and become all that we can be this coming year. This can seem uncomfortable at first as we test our new-found voices and energy but I feel lots of angels of courage are around for this reason - to help and ‘en-courage’ all of us to speak our truth, however uncomfortable it seems. Many friendships may naturally come to an end this coming year, if not already, as well as many old habits, but all is well and we’re being assured this is a natural process of shedding the old to allow the new to come through.

I’m no expert on the vibration of numbers but I understand the ‘1’ year in numerology is a vibrant, assertive and powerful year, denoting the start of a new spiritual cycle and new-found opportunities. The angels are guiding us that there is so much to feel positive about going forward and to approach all change with an open heart and with complete faith that everything improves. There is learning in everything so during times of stress they suggest we reach up and ask “what am I to learn from this experience / situation / relationship?”, which will help to move us through the uncomfortable feeling of being ‘out of control’ and back into the faith that we contracted to experience certain situations in order to learn and grow from them, with supreme faith in our learning abilities.

The angels remind us we never take on more than we can handle, despite appearances, so if we remember that we ‘designed’ our own learning in order to shine our light more brightly, so much the better. This life, after all, is about ‘peeling away the layers’ – we are not ‘lacking’ in anything, we do not need to perfect ourselves as we are perfect already, it’s simply the human condition which often precludes us from seeing it.

Just as the old makes way for the new we are all stripping away layers as we approach a more enlightened age of peaceful understanding that we create exactly what we create. We are responsible for our thoughts before we are responsible for our realities. There has already been so much written about manifestation, particularly around the new year, it doesn’t need repeating, simply to say the angels assure us that once we move more into the faith we really do create our realities (no exceptions), which is much of what the energy of 2008 is about, the denser emotions such as jealously and anger will simply become what they were always meant to be – signposts for where our passions do and don’t lie. In future we will be listening to our emotions with greater detachment and more realisation they are not the owners of us, which will allow us to manifest with greater ease.

As an Angel Therapy Practitioner I seek to serve the divine aspect within all of us. Many times I hear from the angels they’ve been sending the signs people are asking for but our social conditioning blinkers us to the messages as we ‘explain’ them away. These signs are the divine signposts that we’re not in this alone and all is well. Angels are here to assist all of us, no exception, to bring greater peace, joy and love into our lives and to ‘know’ the divine creator within ourselves. The loudest message is that we can all achieve what we want without feeling ‘less than’ or ‘wrong’ or to needlessly compare ourselves with each other as we all bring a unique and integral vibration to the table of life. Currently I am hearing “Dearest children on earth, make the most of your lives, whatever your passions. Have fun, be respectful and kind to one another, and walk the talk! The more you strip away the layers of hurt, resentment and judgement the more you’ll walk in truth and beauty, which is the essence of peace and enlightenment.”

2008 will bring so much harmony back into our lives; 8 is the number of karma so everything is being brought into balance and balance brings greater stability and firm foundations from which to grow and build new beginnings. 2008 will also bring about greater learning to come more from the heart - we are recognising more and more we are as ‘one’ and we can all fulfil our dreams without feelings of ‘lack’ or competition. Spiritual group-work especially will relate more to the blending of energies together to create greater nurturing experiences and anchor more light to the earth. We can all still enjoy, and indeed are required to enjoy, our individual paths, but group work will be more about building the foundations of greater love for one another and the planet. Indeed, as the angels say, it is now illogical to come together in groups and not feel ‘as one’ with each of us divinely supported and nurtured; how appropriate as we enter the ‘1’ year.

I am greatly looking forward to being of service in 2008 in any way I can. More and more people are connecting with the angelic beings and their spirit helpers to usher in the new age of enlightened living. Ultimately, as the angels recommend, the highest thing any of us can do is to listen to our own inner guidance, the still, small voice of reason which offers our highest guidance.
