Munira Nusseibeh, a holistic counselor and an energy healer, moved her practice from New York to Amman- Jordan. She has just launched her new web site www.holistic-cousnelor.com. On it, she details The Munira Nusseibeh School of Holistic Studies, a 4-year certificate training program, at the end of which graduates build the skills to heal and counsel others and are able to set up their own holistic practice. The first class graduated in 2006.

For many years, Munira, born in Jerusalem, enjoyed a well established international presence as an artist. “Exhibitions of my work have been held internationally in New York, London, Paris, Geneva, Abu Dhabi and Amman... I then responded to my yearning to explore the spiritual and esoteric dimensions of life which, in turn, led me to experience diverse approaches to healing and consequently to my training as a holistic counselor.”

Munira earned the Degree of Minister of Spiritual Counseling for Interfaith Ministers, at The New Seminary, New York; and in 1998 I was awarded a Graduate Diploma in Science of Healing from the Barbara Brennan School of Healing, in East Hampton, New York. She set up her own practice in New York after graduating from BBSH in 1998. In 1999 she transferred her practice to Jordan where now lives.

“My approach as a holistic counselor has been influenced by the philosophy of Master Teachers” Munira explains.

During the past twenty years, since she commenced training as a holistic counselor, she has had personal sessions with John Pierrakos - Founder of The Core Energy Institute, New York; and Marianne Lewis - of The Pathwork Institute, New York, and attended courses, seminars and the following teachers: Barbara Brennan - Founder of the Barbara Brennan School of Healing, Florida, Suzan Thesanga - Founder of The Pathwork Institute, New York, Elizabeth Kubler Ross - Psychiatrist and author of " On Death and Dying", Mantak Chia - Taoist Master and founder of The Healing Tao, New York, Chun Yi Lin - Master and Founder of Spring Forest Qigong, Minnesota, Dalai Lama, The Silva Method, and Deepak Chopra.

Munira offers her support in person, to local clients, and to international clients, over the telephone. This is a welcomed pioneering step in the region: the program welcomes participants, locally, as well as from abroad and neighboring countries.
