Hi Sahar,

Congratulations on your wedding and welcome back!
I have been busy practising on learning the
art of coffee reading  you are renowned for. Armed with your little book  of knowledge, I have started with cups which appear 'less busy' otherwise I just get lost in translation. It is really amazing identifying symbols and then trying to work out the story, so much fun! I took some notes on a coffee cup reading and I was wondering if you would look over and advise me if I am understanding and interpreting things right. I wish I had you to teach me!! Anyway, if you would look over my notes and confirm I am reading the symbols correctly and inform me of any suggestions for improvement I would highly appreciate it.
Photos to follow.

regards
G.

Dear G,

I will add my comments in red on your notes:

"The thing is with this cup was, I asked my mind to reveal to me the story and to my surprise immediately upon picking up the cup and looking at it, I instantly spotted symbols and my intuition would tell me what they meant, it was really uncanny but so much fun!

The first thing I noticed with this coffee cup upon looking at it from afar was the a bold formation surrounded by white spaces clockwise from the handle then a bold formation and then white gaps going towards the handle, so the thought immediately came to me that the white gap at the start – that is to the right of the handle suggests a new cycle. The bold formation then followed the white gap and this signified to me that since most of the coffee grounds are shaped into a pattern on the first side of the cup and the formation is bold so I deduced that significant changes will occur and that this event that is to happen will be life changing, that this is an important phase in the drinker’s life denoted by the dark, bold formation of the grounds indicating headline news, significant changes are going to happen. Absolutely!

Based on the example readings in your little book, I guessed that (because I can’t yet tell the timing), since it is so close to the handle that this event would occur in the next 2-3 weeks. Is this right? Yes, the closer to the handle the sooner, the closer to the rim the sooner. If it right on the handle it could even be within days. Or is it 1-3 months? How do you tell the timeline on a cup?

Anyway, I felt that the changes would occur in the very near future. Then the bold formation was followed by some lines which appeared to be trips/journeys and then a second white gap towards the handle that is on the left of it signifies that all will go well, that all problems will be resolved, the situation on the drinker’s mind will all go well. So at first glance, I concluded that since the pattern was surrounded by 2 white gaps on either sides, this as a good omen and that the result will be favourable, that whatever the circumstances are all will end well. This alleviated any concerns for the future, I thought anyway because obviously this was on the mind of the drinker! Well done- right again.

After the initial overall look, I then zoomed in to see what this pattern was all about and ‘read’ the story. The first image that stood out, that I saw was that if a man kneeling with his arms up in front of him and immediately I felt he was begging/apologising to the woman standing in front of him – the long silhouette. Excellent! I know there are other shapes and patterns to the left of what I saw as a man on his knees begging and above him but I really didn’t know what they meant and nothing came to mind so I just let them go and continued. I then looked again to the left of the man and thought that was a peacock. Not too sure but that’s what I felt it was. Given its position that is behind the man, I felt this to mean that the man is very proud, or at least has always been and was in the past but now he has put that behind him (denoted by the peacock behind him) and is on his knees being and apologising and asking for forgiveness. I looked down the bottom of the cup to determine the cause or what this means and it looked like a heart shape bottom of cup where dark bold ends hear shape – so I took it to mean this situation related to matters of the heart.   Yes! Or that the man respects and likes and the woman and perhaps was too proud to apologise (but is going to- I would advice the enquirer to accept since this step means a great deal and is significant in itself).

The next image that popped out at me was the lady facing a man. The man is in bold dark so I took this as meaning that this person is known to the drinker and also important to the drinker. The woman appears to be in along dress with a tail and the man is standing opposite her taller than her. Also, I got the feeling that the darkness of the man indicates that he is darker in colouring than her that is she is fairer than him. The man appears to be standing on a huge dark lump which I took to mean that he is well established, has financial stability, has a deep-rooted fortune, or will make one…I don’t know. Absolutely! Also, the lump extends underneath the woman. You can see the heart shape above where the darkness ends and the heart shape forms. What do you think this dark lump symbolises? It seems to indicate that as soon as they marry they will bring good luck for each other , so he will do well and most probably she will do well too. If they are both standing on the same lump, it means both will share the fortune, he is generous, or that she would be treated well, etc..

Anyway, the lump extends to the right and further but I don’t know what all this means. It means good financial standing which will continue for some time into the future, since it is going around the cup, to the right, in other words, into the future . I am not sure if that is a seal or whale at the top of the cup; don’t know what to make of this, what do you think? Fish, whale, which is mentioned in the book, represent a money fortune . Is that a number 5 to the right of it? Any number would represent a date- as explained in the book. Did you finish reading yet? You will see meaning to other symbols there.

Then further along I spotted a girl with a ponytail. I was so amazed to see this so clearly. Absolutely amazing! It is definitely a girl. I suspected it was the drinker herself. She appears to be holding out her hands in front of her as if accepting something such as a gift, or expecting something. Then I looked on and I saw what looked like a man kneeling again, holding his arms out – is this a proposal? Absolutely! And it seems she is going to accept! I don’t know what all the other shapes mean, so I moved on and the next shape I spotted was a v-shape does this mean this is a celebration? More like a victory, in other words overcoming problems or any adverse situation that has passed.

Are these people down near the bottom of the two lines that form the trip? The 2 lines that symbolised a trip/journey with white gaps before and after the lines. This clearly indicated to me that the journey will go well vertical lines are unobstructed and smooth. Then another few lines but I don’t know if this means another journey. What do you think this means? Am I right in deducing this is a journey? Yes, yes, yes to all! You are doing really well. It means that they would be travelling a great deal. There’s so many patterns I am not well trained to spot any and actually nothing was coming to me so I just left it and moved on. Not all patterns make sense, sometimes it is just coffee, so you are right to focus on main formation. A few more shapes and patterns but I just didn’t know what to make of it. As you can see all is then clear until the end of the handle, which denotes all will go well. The situation on the drinker’s mind will all work out and go well.

What does the wiggly line on the rim mean above the couple facing each other? What about other symbols you spotted? Please tell me what you picked up and the symbols you were able to see with your trained eye so I can further my learning. You did not send me a picture, so I do not know what the symbols are. A line over the figures is like a ‘roof over their heads’, indicating stability for both as a couple. Overall, I felt quite positive and felt this was a good reading for the drinker. I hope I did ok. I am still learning.

You are amazing! Well done!

  Sahar.
