Hi Sahar,

I am able to read coffee grounds as well, but sometimes I am confused and I would like to ask an expert, YOU.

I saw this: a head of a man and behind him an upside down heart with a hook on top of it. I know that upside down heart means loss of love, but when it's behind of a person?

My boyfriend and I broke up 2 months ago. He was a kind of upset at me and he said that he didn't want to be with me anymore, but a few days ago he sent me a message, nothing important just a holiday wish. Do you think he want to leave BEHIND what happened, or he will continue to be upset at me?

Thanks
Gypsy

Dear Gypsy,

A heart relates to state of relationship, as you already know, and since it is inverted, it also signifies the past- that it is something that has already happened; not just "lost" as you described.

Since the symbol is behindd the man, it describes how your boyfriend feels, that he too feels hurt by what has happened as the heart is "pierced"- or hurt, by the hook.

A hook also denotes something that is not lost- it is still hooked although there has been a rift since the heart is inverted.

So it seems to me that him sending you a casual message is expressing that it is not completely over, still "hooked". However, I can't tell what is going to happen as you did not send a picture and one has to look at symbols around this man and heart to see what the outcome is, or if he will indeed upset you again.

So, my advise is that you have to logical when it comes to relationships. Emotional outbursts tend to escalate and aggravate matters unnecessarily!

I suggest that in the future talk, not fight, and communicate what is upsetting both to you and him. If things improve then your relationship will also do.

If neither of you is willing to compromise and respect or honour the other's feelings, then the nature of the relationship will not change and you may not be ready for a relationship.

So your cup, it seems to me, is showing you that feelings are a two-way street, and that he was also hurt by the break up, not just you. The rest, from now on, is up to you. A cup will show you the map- but you have to chart the rout.

Also, please take a look at other interpretation of heart in coffee cups, and take a look at my Spiritual DIY Life Coaching column on love:
