A couple of months back I had a reading done by my friend’s mother. From this I found that I have been reincarnated 77 times and that I have 32 spirit guides with five of them being animal essences. Later my friend had hers don the same day, and it so happened that we new each other in a past life! I did find this rather hard to believe as I think it is a rather big coincidence. Do you think this is true and accurate reading, as I don’t see why she would have lied as it was for free.

I have no means of assessing if the reading from your friend's mother was accurate or true. Each person works differently also we each perceive and interpret information we receive according to our own 'software,' our own beliefs and our own mindset.

Is it possible that you knew your friend from a previous life? Yes, such cases a numerous, and among the experts there is an understanding that it is more common to reincarnate with people we know previously, as there is energy resonance that pulls us towards them. I have read about a whole town where by its inhabitants have all been together before!

About the number of spirit guides and animal essences, the point is that you are supported. One or 300 is not really the issue! But, do read about this in Angels & Spirit Guides.

It seems to me that the reading you received has managed to arouse your curiosity and desire to investigate on a deeper level, our relationship to the spiritual world, or the psyche/soma/soul relationship. In my view, it has accomplished its purpose; the rest is now up to you.

Hey, sorry for wasting your time but i have so many questions!

So the amount of guides you have doesn't matter? It doesn't give us any more benefits or anything?, also they way she did her reading was holding a   needle by a string and waited for it to spin round...and the spirits said that I am not ready to do it yet? Why? And what can I do to become ready?

The way she described life to me is that there are eight levels and we work are way up till we join a mass of good energy. And my friend has been reincarnated less times than me but is on a higher level , why does it take me so long to learn lessons , do I have like a retarded soul?

Dan, take it easy! Read all those books I suggested. Communication 'with the other side,' is an ability we all have-we just need to train our minds to do it. When you do not train, you are not equipped to handle the process safely and that can be dangerous.

Everyone has their own way of understanding things-as I explained to you. The most important thing is that you awaken your awareness by investigating these matters yourself-do not take someone else's understanding as truth.

I never knew who my guides are until a year or so ago! This is just a metaphor explaining that spirit, the invisible world, is supporting the visible world. Guides could be just a word to describe different layers of energy-we humans give it a name, it does not mean they are what we think they are! let's say it is a different level of consciousness that we have excess to whether we are aware of it or not, the exchange of communication still takes place.
