“There is Someone Out There for Everyone”

 
when I walked into Café Flo, I couldn't help but notice that dishy bloke walking behind me. Dark, handsome and mysterious-looking… lovely!

Ah my God! He smiled at me! I felt the colour rush to my cheeks as I sat down at a table. Get a trip, Nikki! You could be encouraging a total weirdo… I was a woman living alone in London. You can't be too careful, can you? He was walking towards me, his eyes locking into mine. I should have got up and walked away, or ignored him. But it wasn't possible. The air around me buzzed, it was like I was held captive by some hidden force. 

“‘It’ll be BANG! Just like that!’ she told me”

I find myself smiling back at him as he sat down next to me. There was no need to be afraid. Don’t ask me how you, I just did. I just felt this instant, inexplicable trust. All the warnings I’d ever heard were running through my head, but my soul dismissed them as an important. It's you. Where have you been? I have found you!

We started to talk, he told me his name was Taymour. “I knew what was going to happen, the second I saw you. Sahar told me I’d meet you”, he told me. “She told me about you.. ‘This woman will be blonde, with blue eyes, slightly taller than you, with a very sparkly personality. She is British, but has links to the continent. She’ll be kind and gentle, and when you meet her, you’ll have no choice. You’ll marry, this woman.’ Then Sahar clapped her hands. ‘It’ll be BANG! Just like that!’ She told me”.

Turned out Sahar was a psychic, she’d been right about things before. She told Taymour, he’d change careers. He was a sales and marketing executive, but she told him he would become a ‘guiding light’ to people. And now, he was… Taymour trained as a Life Coach, counselling people in business.

And she was right about me too. I’m British but my father was German-that was continent of connection she mentioned. Amazing! “I trust Sahar completely, so I wasn’t surprised when I saw you sitting there…” Taymour smiled at me.

So that explained why I felt so comfortable with him from the first moment I clapped eyes on him. We couldn't believe how much we had in common. We liked the same food, wine, holiday destinations... It was obvious to both of us that we were meant to be together.

We married on 17th of May 2003, two years to the day after we met. Sahar was invited to our wedding. It was only right-she played such a big role in our meeting after all! A little while after we got together, Taymour told me he could see his children and my eyes. So now I’m looking forward to feeling those children in my arms.
