I am extremely sceptical. Tarot is one thing, but divining the future of my shambolic love life from coffee dregs – seriously? After drinking the coffee and overturning the cup, the session begins.

At first she says there will be some good news (vague but nice) then freaks me out by correctly predicting the return of my flatmate from New York by seeing piano keys in the dregs (my flatmate owns a piano in our flat). By this point I am a bit more of a believer.

She goes on to say that I will meet my soulmate this June, who I will then get married to, rather quickly as it happens.

Being someone who can’t commit to a two-week relationship, I’m quite stunned and again sceptical, but as Sahar delves further into other areas of my life and my personality, disbelief turns into wonderment.

Scoff if you will, but she told me things she couldn’t possibly have known, as well as my plans for the future, which only I know.

I don’t know how Sahar does it, but she is fantastic and I am hooked for life.
