The children of today
Are in such pain
Its the price we pay
For political gain..
Yesterdays cities
that once were great;
save them before its too late..
Ancient once and great-
They form the history of today
If the leaders disagree-
Why do people have to pay?
If we stand
hand in hand
maybe then we could all
save this land
If we stand hand in hand
theres no greater power than love
that could save this land
Fighting and sorrow
is all there is to see
For the Children of tomorrow
we can set them free
Send then food to eat
We can make a brighter day
We could answer all their prayers
But do they have the strength to pray?
They've given all they've got
When will the fighting ever stop
Lets stop the bloody times ahead
And stop the leaders wish for death
If we stand
hand in hand
maybe then we could all
save this land
If we stand hand in hand
