Angela
Hywood, founder and Managing Director of Tonic Australia
grew up against a family backdrop of three generations in
pharmacy.
She knew from an early age that her individual approach
to health and well-being would take a more
natural and integrative approach than
mainstream medicine.
She graduated from Perth Academy of Natural
Therapies in 1995, spent several years in general practice, then
undertook qualifications in pharmacy at Curtin University of Technology
before
completing her education with post graduate qualifications in natural
fertility management and women and children’s health.
She was a faculty
member of the Botanical Medicine and Naturopathic Medicine departments
of Perth Academy of Natural Therapies, Australasian College of Natural
Therapies and
Nature Care College of Naturopathic and
Traditional Medicine. She is a current faculty member of postgraduate
education at Texas Chiropractic College and University of Miami School
of Medicine, Integrative Medicine department and is in great demand as
a guest speaker.
Angela practices Natural Fertility in Sydney,
Australia and Boston,
Massachusetts, balancing her time between consulting and education
roles in Australia, New Zealand, USA and Canada.
