We are pleased to have with us today, Stephanie Brookes, author of Some Silent hero.  Stephanie is currently the youngest author and publisher in the mind Body Spirit genre, and is marketing director and joint owner of Spiritual Philosophy Publishing Ltd.

Some Silent Herotells the story of twenty-something Viv, who is in her 20's, and her journey of discovery, both, actual and personal, triggered by the death of her father. Arguments with her mother and the ache she still feels for her dead father move her to take control of her life. David, a biker and spiritual medium enters her life and invites her to the West Coast of America. A girl beckons them both to follow her, but she is not human, she is in Spirit.

 Some Silent Hero

It is the first in a planned trilogy. The author has already raving reviews about her book, and has featured in Best and B magazines and has appeared on the BBC’s Heaven and Earth. Coronation Street’s William Roache has said of Some Silent Hero:

"It is wonderful to find in someone so young such a profound understanding of spiritual matters and also who can write so well on the subject. Some Silent Hero is enjoyable on all levels and very informative.
William Roache MBE."

Here’s what we discussed in the Podcast interview:

1. Stephanie, you have already received raving reviews about your novel, which our listeners can find in the Body Mind Spirit well as fiction section, in book shops and on amazon.co.uk. This is your first published novel, in a planned trilogy, which in a way, you started writing at the age of seven! Our listeners would be interested to know: what prompted you to write the novel, and who are the ‘Silent heroes’?

2. Who is the book aimed at, and what do you feel it can offer readers?

3. You studied
English & Creative Studies, at Portsmouth University; and graduated in 2004. you had by that time completed script of her first novel. Your bio mentions that “you had received interest from a small publisher but wanted more control over the marketing of her book”.  Would you tell our listeners about the publishing company you run?

4. Do you think people are becoming more aware and more tolerant of spiritual matters?

5. What is next for you?
