Papered Over is an exploration of some of the New Testament’s most puzzling contradictions and inconsistencies.

Author Jared Collard dares to ask questions free from the orthodoxy and mythology that has shrouded Christian history for two thousand years.

If we accept the time period of the gospels, Jesus was not in the tomb for three days and three nights as the Christ, himself, foretold in Matt. 12:38-40!

Unable to explain or account for this discrepancy, it is largely ignored by the Church. Does this variant mean that Jesus Christ was not the Messiah? Did this error creep into the gospels years later, or did Jesus’ crucifixion and burial actually occur earlier in the week?

Has the Church deliberately concealed the truth, or has it been so busy promoting its own growth that it ignores Christ’s own words?

Collard answers the questions of people who may want authoritative information without having to buy and pour through numerous books on the subject. This book offers explanations to many theological conundrums and should be a welcome addition to private, public and church libraries.
