Unusual, different, deeply spiritual! When my Mayan guide told me about divination with stones, I thought at first that it was impossible and second that I would never remember the stones, for they are only pebbles. It soon became clear that the stones are distinctive in their difference and in their precision – they have yet to lie.

These readings are not evidential; I do not connect with relatives or friends on the other side. They are not for people who seek proof of survival, but are for those who are on a spiritual pathway and who need guidance, reassurance or confirmation, or indeed all three, to help them on that pathway. It can be lonely at times and it is easy to feel you have gone off the path laid out for you. These readings will show you where you are, and where you need to go. They are always given with the greatest of love.

The readings are done very simply. It works like this - I have a variety of stones, each representing an aspect of life - physical through emotional to spiritual. 

I have a purple cloth divided by ribbon into three sections: Past, Present, Future. In the centre of the Present I place the special 'I' stone. Then, with eyes closed, I take from the bag ten stones, five in each hand, and place them 'randomly' on the cloth. From that 'random' placement we do the reading, bearing in mind the three questions we have been asked.

One stone is designated the ‘I’ stone which is placed in the centre of the Present and is ‘you’ in the Now. Then, with eyes closed, I take two handfuls of stones and place them on the cloth. Only then do I look where they are in relation to each other and to you, the I stone. I have yet to find that the stones lie. If anything, it is my interpretation which may be at fault, but invariably and inevitably the truth has come out and the stones, quite simply, do not lie. I do not know how they do it - I just accept that they do. As my shaman said recently to me, ‘write your truths.’ This I will do.

The Past is very important, it is the past which makes us what we are now. So those stones are critical to the reading. The Present indicates what is happening around us on a daily basis and the Future is there to be walked into, with guidance.

Once the stones are read and discussed, the reading goes one of two ways: Either I am given a long message for the sitter, sometimes using illustrations from my own life, or I channel a message from the sitter's own guide or angel, who are pleased to have a chance to speak direct to their loved one. This semi-trance is one of the great pleasures of reading, after the pleasure of working with my stones, that is.

Different, yes. Distinctive, yes. Loving, very. Experience a stone reading for yourself!
