Debra Lynne Katz is a professional clairvoyant, psychic reader, healer and spiritual counsellor. She also has a BA in psychology and an MA in social work. You Are Psychic was borne because she was unable to recommend her clients, any one book that covered all aspects of her subject. No publication existed that would satisfy her client’s ‘information hunger’. So Katz decided to write it.

I am sure that many people are glad that she did. Some books written about this subject are wishy washy and airy fairy, but not this one. It contains very practical advice about developing our psychic abilities.

I struggled a little with the constant examples of her own experiences, but felt that the only way to develop it, is through practise. Katz can only teach it by example and must therefore use her own experiences to provide the teaching.

You Are Psychic taught me about MEI Pictures. Mental/Emotional Images, (MEI), which are concentrated pockets of energy that are formed over time- possibly over several lifetimes. It seems that these pockets are made up of an old emotional energy, old thoughts, old ideas and beliefs. These thoughts may have served us in the past, but serve us no longer. Old behaviour patterns tend to hang around and hijack our perception of this current phase of life. It is a fascinating thought that we might be living our life now, but using outdated tools to navigate our way.
