From stories about famous Faeries and real-life stories of Faerie encounters, through to guided visualisations to actually meet the Faeries yourself, there is something for everyone. As you read this book it becomes more like a companion and visitor guide to the Faerie realms.

I particularly liked the "A-Z of Faerie names" (a delightful alternative for parents-to-be?) and thorough explanations of faerie culture and how fairies fit into our lives. There's also a deliciously 'witchy' feel to this book which is hard to resist with its attractive, mystical cover and treasure trove of information on flowers, trees, oils and crystals etc. to call in the Faeries.

I loved this book as it puts you firmly in touch with your roots and respect for planet Earth – a mission of the faerie realms. There's even a very useful exercise on grounding yourself to help you 'focus once more on earthly matters'.

It is also seems to be full of fascinating facts on every page (did you know fairies take the form of animals to bring messages?) and if this were not enough, it is interspersed with beautiful poetry as well as quotes from the likes of Blake and Shakespeare.

At the end of A Faerie Treasury is an excellent 'Faerie Resources Directory' which generously points the reader in the direction of more sources of information. A Faerie Treasury will be a much welcomed addition to any bookshelf both as an entertaining read and compendium.

About the Authors

Jacky Newcomb is an international writer, broadcaster, paranormal experiences expert, and columnist. Jacky has published hundreds of articles on angel and afterlife experiences and is an expert on many other types of paranormal and spiritual phenomenon.
